At the end of each year we usually receive Inntravel’s brochures for the following year, featuring Slow Travel holidays we’ve worked together on. Even if we didn’t work with Slow Travel specialists Inntravel, I’d enjoy flicking through these as a) they include the sort of locations we love to visit, and b) the photography/design is at least equal to many of the best travel magazines. I’m biased as there are usually a selection of my images in there, which I am always thrilled to see included.
This year has been a lean year, thanks to COVID. But the brochure turned up as usual, full of inspirational travel ideas (it’s called Inspirations 2021) for the coming year. Let’s hope people get to enjoy some of them.
These images of mine below are from various Slow Travel holidays – Lake Bled in Slovenia (as good as the hype suggests); Anaga on Tenerife (not what anyone expects from an island known for mass tourism); a windmill ridge in Arrábida Natural Park, Portugal (still a place which is off the beaten track); and The Eagle’s Nest at Berchtesgaden in Bavaria (yes, it gets a lot of visitors but it’s still a WOW of a place).
